There's been an increased awareness regarding the importance of what we eat (what goes in us). Much less has been stressed about the importance of what does on us and into us through our skin. It's equally important - if not more important - to be concerned about what goes into us through our skin. As a result, Common Sense Farm takes serious which ingredients they select for use in their products. You won't find any synthetic preservatives, fragrances or colors in any Common Sense Farm products. This isn't a claim that very many manufacturers can make.
Common Sense Farm's goal is to use what is safe and wholesome. In addition, Common Sense is always looking for new and better ingredients. However, most raw materials used for these types of products require some degree of processing. Some of that processing is as simple as filtering. Other processes are not quite as simple. Until Common Sense Farm knows of safer and better raw materials that require less and simpler processing, they will use what they know to be best. They are just trying to use common sense.
