AdrenoMax is a multivitamin and mineral complex with herbs formulated by respected naturopath Xandria Williams ND to support hormone balance.
AdrenoMax was formulated to support the adrenal glands. The adrenal glands produce numerous hormones involved in blood sugar balancing and stress adaptation, including DHEA, cortisol, adrenalin and noradrenalin.
AdrenoMax contains a range of nutrients such as vitamins B1, B3, B6 and B12, magnesium and vitamin C, which support the nervous system and normal psychological function.
AdrenoMax is a comprehensive formula, with targeted support, providing higher levels of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), vitamin C and magnesium, all valuable in times of increase pressure. Both vitamin C and pantothenic acid (B5) are found in very high concentrations in adrenal tissues.
There are many nutrients that work in an intricate synergy, contributing towards the production of energy, as well as reducing tiredness and fatigue. These include magnesium & iron, vitamin C, and many of the B vitamins including vitamins B2, B6, B12, niacin (B3) and pantothenic acid (B5).
Pantothenic acid contributes to normal mental performance, and it also has a role in the synthesis (production) and metabolism of steroid hormones, vitamin D and also some neurotransmitters, chemical messengers in the brain.
AdrenoMax contains chromium, which contributes to maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Balanced blood sugar has extensive positive effects throughout the body, across all organ systems.
Chamomile, lime blossom, hops and passionflower are herbs that all have a long traditional use for their gentle, soothing properties which support relaxation.
5-HTP is short for 5-Hydroxytryptophan, and it is the immediate amino acid precursor to serotonin, meaning that 5-HTP is converted in the body into serotonin, an important neurotransmitter (chemical messenger) involved in regulating numerous bodily functions, in particular brain and nerve function.
AdrenoMax may be beneficial for those needing long-term nutritional support for the adrenals. It is ideal for those who want a vegetarian formula.
