The herbal extracts and essential oils used to make Peri-Gum are selected for their levels of chemical constituents that vary quite naturally. Constituents are affected by growing conditions such as soil, weather, and altitude and by factors such as age of the plant, when it was harvested and where the seed came from.

This means that each batch of extract will be slightly different. Extracts that are standardized will have consistent levels of the marker compound, but will require varying amounts of plant material to get that level. This may affect the appearance and flavor of the extract and therefore may affect the overall flavor and color of your bottle of Peri-Gum. Why are there small particles in my bottle of Peri-Gum?
Another characteristic of liquid herbal extracts used in Peri-Gum Herbal Mouthwash Concentrate is the fact that liquid extracts are solutions, which means that the dissolved substance (solute) may fall out of solution, especially considering the high concentration of the extracts we use. If this happens, you will see small particles of plant constituents in the extract. Vigorous shaking will often cause the solute to go back into solution. If it does not, don’t worry this is normal. Again, we do not use any artificial chemicals to try to prevent this from happening because it is better to keep Peri-Gum all natural and it is not necessary to make Peri-Gum Herbal Mouthwash Concentrate effective.

Directions

Shake well before use. Add about 5 drops of PERI-GUM® to about ½ ounce of water. (enough to rinse mouth). Use PERI-GUM® mouthwash by vigorously working between teeth and gums for at least 30 seconds (the longer, the better). Gradually increase to 25 drops of PERI-GUM® to ½ ounce of water. Do not swallow. Use at least twice a day, especially at bedtime. To achieve the residual benefits, avoid eating and drinking for at least ½ hour after use.

Peri-Gum is a mouthwash concentrate. It is to be diluted with water when used. Shake well before use. Begin using Peri-Gum by adding about 5 drops to 1/2 ounce of water.
